The Brahma Kumaris Malaysia was established in 1981 with the aim of serving the public by teaching meditation and to impart moral and ethical knowledge. Courses are offered free of charge as a service to the community. We regularly organize lectures, exhibitions, workshops and seminars on topics related to self-development, positive thinking, stress management, values education and self management leadership.
Many have taken benefit in terms of character building, gaining peace of mind, increasing concentration power and enhancing self-confidence. We have been actively engaged in various community outreach programmes, which include among others, in prisons, drug rehabilitation centres and schools.
To take our service of the public to a higher level, we are currently constructing a complex in Dengkil known as ‘CEFIL’ which stands for ‘Community Centre For Inner Learning’. Through CEFIL, we hope to continue offering our services to the Malaysian public to help individuals rediscover the goodness within themselves by encouraging and facilitating the development of spiritual awareness, attitudes, behaviours and skills through a process of lifelong learning.
